I don’t buy that. Once Kate dig into too much info about Sloan LTD, Eleanor had to handle Jack… whether he actually was the CEO of Sloan or it was all a frame, I don’t think we know yet. My impression is Jack truly believes he’s innocent and actually is being framed and can explain it as a misunderstanding, hence him saying he’ll be back soon.

Kate’s mom/The Big Guy are definitely the ones who had Armaund killed

I think Jack might’ve been trying to get with Kate’s mom for nefarious reasons, to inherit money/her security company and I think she realized it and framed him.

Would be weird for her mom and Jack to put on a whole show for Kate and have him arrested just to have him get back out.

But I guess it’s not impossible, we’ll see.
