Loved this. The lighting and color grading work was refreshing. Truly a beautiful movie.

I do agree the last act was a little excessive tho. Too much dragon-riding, emotionless monster bashing, and cliche 'untrained friend saves the day', while it lost the nuanced choreography and tension of the earlier action sequences.

Seeing a lot of love for Awkwafina but tbh I’m generally not a big fan of her English speaking roles and I’d didn’t like her THAT much in this

Had a couple good moments but maybe they just wanted someone lively to pick up Lui since he has to grow accustomed to being a marvel lead.

The rest of the main cast was just great
