They winged all three of those movies tbh and it shows. It’s actually impressive how well they did manage to do it given the lack of any plan and coming up with everything on the fly

For example if a multiverse movie was planned as the Part 2 to the Part 1 story of FFH, Mysterio would have absolutely been the main villain and revealed to have been telling the truth about the multiverse

Nah would have been inconsistent with Mysterio as a character and his motivations

Would it have inconsistent tho? NWH is a direct part 2 to FFH about the multiverse. Mysterio was a guy who lied about coming from/knowing about the multiverse (who somehow knew the designation of the 616)

If NWH was planned as a multiverse movie from the jump there’s no doubt Mysterio would’ve been in it. Even without him the story is a web of consequences because of him

no. 616 is a stupid Easter Egg that they wanted to repeat in MOM even though they did it with Mysterio lying about what universe number the universe they are in is.

Mysterio crafted a fake narrative that is believable in the world that they were in for that day so people would buy him as a legitimate hero

Not to mention When FFH was made and released NWH wasn’t even a for sure thing. One of the first ideas they had to wrap up the trilogy was to have Kraven hunt Peter after his identity was revealed to the world.

i wonder how they’re gonna retcon peter into letting people or other heroes at least know his identity again

cause obviously they’re gonna want him in more team up movies, probably a bigger role now since the ogs are gone and i doubt they want him having the mask on the whole time
