Keep in mind as well that they were gonna drop this earlier two days ago i believe but they were like “the video is not loading” they’re so cap. They changed the release date of the trailer for sure hahahaha June 10th was probably right initially

- Spider-Man films usually do around upper 700mil-upper 800mil
- Homecoming (880mil) was the second highest grossing Spider-Man film after Spider-Man 3 (894mil) until Far From Home blew every Spider-Man film out the water with 1.1bil
- given this is the third film AND all the hype surrounding it…
This is at least doing 2012 Avengers numbers. I’m not saying 2bil but I wouldn’t be shocked if it came somewhere near it. And it still isn’t settling in because I’m used to Spider-Man films (with the exception of 2002 Spider-Man being the 21st Century “you’ll believe a man can fly” event that the first Donner Superman was) don’t feel like wide cultural events. I’m a weird way we as a culture take for granted that we’re watching a Spider-Man film cause we’re all so familiar with the character, plus it never feels grand in scale. This will be different

We have to see how markets hit hard by the pandemic behave after everything is back to normal again. It will most likely make bank in China, South Korea and Japan, but I‘m not so sure for Europe and NA + SA.
