Ok bois....the moment.

So. Trailer was pretty freaking mid. NOW....I get that it's the first and that in the second one it's (confirmed) gonna have the other 2 in it.

But this felt....off. and kinda typical mcu spiderman. A super stupid and easily avoidable problem causes so much damage and he's indulged by an older man who is giving him too much leeway. It's lowkey creepy tbh.

They making strange the new stark. Man's really let a child into his basement dungeon to cast a spell cuz life is hard right now lol. Like...bro. WHAT. Everything is messed up cuz Peter couldn't shut the f*** up?? Literally? And of course ol buddy f***ing leaves AGAIN when he's needed around
They gotta stop with that joke. "WE need to make the plot move forward. We'll just have him go on vacation or something"

Dumb.

Alfred molina looks fantastic. Lil cgi mixed with good genes. Also odd choice to show a green goblin grenade but focus on doc oc primarily.

All n all....pretty underwhelming. I truly hope this won't be another ffh or homecoming situation. Colors look OK. I hope they do another pass on them and make them pop juuuuusst a bit more. That typical marvel palette is ROUGH.

Also....I see they took another idea from BvS. Man feige can't help himself lol. Don't blame him tho. He's been shook off that movie since it was announced. Least he's learning a lil from it

All the yellow lightning was Electro, the grenade was Goblin and Doc was the reveal. First trailer was just half the team and the second trailer will be the 3 spider men

I mean, it is a small problem bc you don’t know what will happen to their relationship and it isn’t explained in the trailer

Like the s*** honestly makes no sense, logistically. Does everyone forgetting he’s Spider-Man include Dr Strange too? The other avengers?
Just bc the people “forget” does that also mean that all media and evidence of it is gone? I mean, people probably texted their friends about it soso do all those texts get erased or do ppl see their old texts and be like wtf were we talking about and then start to realize that Peter is Spider-Man

What about the video that was emailed out as the original proof that spidey was Parker? Even if everyone forgets right now, the newspaper guy is still going to check his email again and then be like oh s***.. I have evidence of spidey identity

The only way this spell works properly is by doing some type of time reversal, not memory spell and from the trailer it doesn’t seem like Strange is using the time stone to do any of this so...

How did this idea/concept make it out the writers room? So many plot holes so far.. seemingly (maybe the movie explains it)

Yo to be fair, I like that the mcu is trying new stuff with Spider-Man. We seeing him do & interact with characters that wouldn’t be done without marvel studios involvement

I remember a time when all we wanted was Spidey to be in the mcu, well this is what that looks like

We seen Spidey be the neighborhood hero, but we never seen him take on world & universal threats until now so that’s dope imo
