Even then Uncles Ben’s death was handled differently in all 3 movies lmao and seeing as how Ben’s death is vital in the role of Peter becoming Spider-Man yeah it is kinda weird that he’s not that important to Toms Spider-Man.
Nobody’s asking for flashbacks lol
How is he not important to Tom’s Spider-Man when he’s literally Spider-Man rn
We already know why he does what he does, why go through it again?
We getting a MULTIVERSAL Spider-Man story that makes me nostalgic for the 90s cartoon and y’all in here arguing about uncle Ben. We all know who uncle Ben is god damn
Im watching Spider Man TASM right now
Season 4 Episode 9
The video game did Mr Negative so well and so recently
But I’d love to see that story in the movies

Cuz when you have to use loopholes like this to explain it then that says everything.
“He’s already Spider-Man so we know he loved Ben”
And again, I said we don’t need flashbacks of Ben’s death for this.

Yeah they knocked that out of the park truly
Hope the films can do him justice

Amazing video games
ngl I love the multiverse so far but s*** is gonna get confusing AF.
I hope there’s less emphasis in the next phase.

It’s not a loophole if it’s alluded to in dialogue. His conversation in Civil War with Tony tells us all we need to know

they are def gonna take a grounded approach after the culmination i think.
Introducing Daredevil and Kingpin gives me hope for a team up in the future
Tony plays that role in the MCU and its honestly a bit more refreshing than Ben.
There are a lot of stuff to criticize about Toms Spidey but i dont really mind that
Eh I’d say he’s more of the Batman to MCU’s Robin or something man.
First movie he’s big homie
Second movie he’s gone and Peter coping with his loss etc.
And to be fair, I have more criticisms about Tom than this too but apparently this is why the discourse is about so I’m just chiming in

Season 4 Episode 9
Where are you watching it?
People weren’t there man like Peter dealing with shenanigans way out of his pay grade / being thrust into some “fabric of the universe” s*** / teaming up with other marvel heavyweights bc he’s the BIGGEST marvel hero is just as integral to the character as Ben getting shot. And this is really the area of Peter’s character that the last franchises didn’t get to explore so let the MCU dive right in

Right, in a Captain America movie. Not his own movie lol.
And do anybody even remember that convo or do we remember the fight scenes and Black Panther dropping 81 points on Buckys neck

Death scene in Endgame(and Parker dying in IW) really bring out their bond to be more than mentorship, but I see where you come from tbh

torrented that s***
Thank god they didn’t shy away from just using JK Simmons again
I wonder if that will confuse people since he IS just a recast/being the same role but a new version
And then there are Raimi actors who are the exact SAME characters like and their continuing

I was talking about in the confines of the Spider-Man movies my g.
Like the other dude brought up Civil War, you bringing up IW and Endgame
And those scenes are touching I will admit.
But Spider-Man’s not the focus of those movies.
I’m talking about in his own trilogy

ohhhh yeah fairs fairs im just talking about the MCU in general.
i think more of that will be explored in the college trilogy tbf
Need grounded spidey content after this.
NY crime s***, mafia kingpin moments, gritty smaller scale villains
