This is kinda interesting though
Like will it get to the point where there is literally 100+ MCU movies
including tv shows we could have that pretty soon
we getting atleast 26 projects in 2021-2023

RIGHT???
They’re literally at the forefront of cinematic universes and doing it with no blueprint so I guess we’ll have to wait and see
People always say it’s more like a long form, cinematic TV show with instalments but even tv shows end. How long do we do this MCU thing
let’s wait and see what Feige thinks
That’d be an interesting question for him tbh I’d be curious on his outlook
Although it’d probably just be ‘we’re looking at the now and focusing on telling great stories for as long as we can’
Was just about to post this. Co-sign from the man himself
I’m sure he’ll get asked about it a bunch on the MOM press junket run and I can’t wait to hear what his thoughts are
Feige when asked about the passage of time and impending finality of the MCU as we know it

This may be it boys
i pray the family or whoever win 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

should it? Is that what anyone wants even fans? can they have a ending that kind of has people okay?
we talking 7 , 8 spider man movies?
its fine if people want that I am just asking its not like Disney would be making something else. The whole story of Iron Man saving Marvel was inspiring but at a certain point I am just left asking myself did they plateau a bit or will they. the shows being successful been major this year but how long will the magic of crossovers last? same way I feel about the batman, gotham, penguin show
Comic Books don’t end
So why would comic book movies?
Marvel in particular has never had a huge widespread canon reboot like DC has.
There’s over 80 years of stories to draw from
comic book movies cost a lot more to make than a comic book. Comic books have various writers, runs, leads, visions, interpretations. Yes what if is cool but you cant really compare comics who see so much to these movies. These movies are something of fan service meets canon
its just super generic, like compared to phase 1 movies its good, but thats not what i need in 2021
Black Widow just a secret agent in their world though. But are they hiring directors and writers that want to make a secret agent movie or a marvel movie. Like yes their movies have gotten into different genres but very few have actually gotten into the genre and taken risk or predicted the future of the genre vs felt derivative
Oh boy
Disney’s bout to make them go missing, aren’t they?

yeah but her just being a secret agent means it couldve been a very nice different movie like a mission impossible type movie
but it was like a very generic s***ty version of mission impossible

yeah thats kind of my point like they have the logical reason to do any genre they want or choose in the same series and be canon. Tell any story. Could really even nearly be any time or place based upon logic they make up that the fans follow then they give us that. Makes you kind of wonder how long can nostalgia win from no way home to dr strange 2 rumors to x men reboot to fantastic four reboot to blade reboot
like will people get tired of seeing good win
Loki was a cool experiment for them as was scarlet witch
I would be okay with comic book movies becoming a full fledge genre as big as cowboy movies tbh. The interest will run low at some point.

they already are a genre........
So what would happen if Disney loses the suit? Would they go public domain or could they straight up be like “Nah, no more Marvel s***. Ever.”

Yeah but it's still new. Technically the official start of the MCU era was 2008, so by 2028 they should be good as done with how long the cowboy era lasted.

Feige will be working in macdonalds

comic book movies existed before MCU though even if they are the cinematic universe era

Customer: “Hey, are you Kevin Feige, former President of Marvel Studios?”
Feige: “Yes, son. At one point I had it all. I was at the very top. Then one day, before I even knew it, it was gone. Just like that.”
Customer: “Gee Mister, that’s tough.”
Feige: “Th-…the things we had planned. You have no idea. There was so much more to come. So many projects that never were to be. We were just getting started…”
Customer: “Hey, I told you no onions.”
Feige:
"Sony's always kept, outside of the new Spider-Man stuff they're doing with Disney/MCU, Sony's always kept their Marvel stuff separate," D'Alessandro said. "With this Venom (the upcoming Let There Be Carnage) they're actually going to connect to the Spider-Man universe they're setting up with Disney/MCU. I know one of their long-term goals is to make Sinister Six, and that's kind of the project we're all waiting for, their version of the bad guys from the Spider-Man (universe)."
