For me, I don’t see it ending. However, after Avengers vs. X-Men (if it ever happens) I think they should focus on more non-canon projects and introduce more B and C tier comic characters into the mainstream. This would keep it fresh and allow creative freedom that we haven’t seen before with Marvel. As time goes on I think they will move away from team up films. At a certain point people will be tired of team ups

they’ve already began this with the disney + shows
    moonlight
    she hulk
    iron heart
    secret invasion
    blade
    ms marvel

I got to ask at this point when will y'all be satisfied? Like how does this universe end for you how many more phases? like cool xmen and avengers team up galactus silver surfer fantastic four

    but where is the wall

The wall happens when Feige loses his Midas touch and these s***s starts getting boring like every other big wave that happens in art

Genre is solidified now so they'll never stop making them but this particular momentum can't last forever the films will eventually do the same thing the comics do when s*** gets too convoluted and weighed down with baggage; reboot

Probably nothing will quite match these golden years though when realizing the universe for the first time was so exciting

yeah thats kind of my point like they have the logical reason to do any genre they want or choose in the same series and be canon. Tell any story. Could really even nearly be any time or place based upon logic they make up that the fans follow then they give us that. Makes you kind of wonder how long can nostalgia win from no way home to dr strange 2 rumors to x men reboot to fantastic four reboot to blade reboot

like will people get tired of seeing good win

Loki was a cool experiment for them as was scarlet witch

I can't think of a bigger example of the good not winning in a blockbuster than Infinity War

So what would happen if Disney loses the suit? Would they go public domain or could they straight up be like “Nah, no more Marvel s***. Ever.”

They would just give those families tiny a cut of the vast fortune they make and continue on

Yeah but it's still new. Technically the official start of the MCU era was 2008, so by 2028 they should be good as done with how long the cowboy era lasted.

Never mind the MCU, the genre began in 1978 with Superman

oh come on that does not count. Same way cowboy movies still exist to this day. There's an obvious line where an the main era started and ended.

And that was a great moment now they kind of need to combine with smaller stakes at times so it’s not always “ if the hero loses the world ends “

Yeah it's actually quite similar to how The Great Train Robbery came out in 1903 but the genre didn't really find its stride until 1938 with Stagecoach

    Still began in 1903

Fiege says he wants to focus on smaller scale stories in the films now so that's probably the trajectory

He's not gonna try and top Thanos for 5-10 years probably

He built up a universe over 10 years and ended it with every single actor/hero fighting together against Thanos

Now he is using the multiverse as a way to tie in other franchises/versions of the characters and have them share the screen with the MCU heroes we have come to love

    What’s next?

I think the answer is right in front of us
