But there is no reason they couldn’t have focused on his character even with light flashbacks in these movies rather than Tony stark this much
in the first movie he has to deal with learning his limits, tony's shadow and his gfs daddy being the vulture + in the second he has to protect his friends and his identity while dealing with his own ego and the aftermath of endgame. not classic parker problems but still problems and more character growth than tobey or andrew ever got.
there's no reason to do the classic broke boy to living legend spidey origin story for the millionth time in a universe where it wouldn't make sense cmon now
