They should get Sam Raimi to do the new trilogy
Literally no other better answer, unless he doesn’t wanna do em which is very likely
But after MoM drops I guarantee there will be a huge plush from fans for him to do it
I want more different directors for college trilogy but i wouldn’t be mad at the choice
Stan don’t gotta do s*** to sell these movies
he said the same thing about Tobey. if asked who’s the best Spider-Man, of course anyone involved with a Spider-Man movie is going to say the current actor playing Spider-Man. that’s common sense, at least from a business standpoint.
if he wanted to make more money (which nearly all rich people want), then of course he’s going to say Tom is the best in order to try and sell the movies. saying the opposite would cause a bunch of controversy and risk the success of the franchise
now mind you, that could’ve been his genuine opinion. but I just think it’s odd when people bring up Stan Lee’s opinion in these debates as if it’s the ultimate authority because at the end of the day, Stan co-signed ALL THREE actors playing Spider-Man meaning he thought all three were best for the role during their time. I’m sure if Tom was replaced with another person while Stan was alive, he would have said something similar
If Olivia Wilde spider woman movie is fire I wouldn’t mind her getting involved in all this college spidey stuff
She did the college stuff cool in booksmart, she’s gonna do the big studio action stuff in spiderwoman, maybe she could do spider gwen
I was actually pretty excited at the Olivia Wilde / Spider-Woman rumors
I actually liked the sound of that and actually sounds dope af
I got faith Olivia could make a dope Spider-Woman movie
He definitely will. I think they should use Debra Whitman for a love interest tbh
You know what I actually like that idea
She’s really been on the back burner in media outside the comics since the 90s animated series

Who you think could do a better than Sam Raimi and Disney Mcu writers working together I honestly wanna know because I can’t think of a director
Edgar Wright Spider-Man trilogy
I loved the college parts of last night in soho

Interesting perspective I didn’t think about although I still stand by what I said earlier.

We’ll see how that works out in Multiverse of Madness
ok seriously no memes
College Trilogy directors
Jon Favreau (Hold up, i know some of you may hate this because of connections to Iron Man but i seriously think he could make a great Spider-Man movie)
Safdie Brothers (i seriously think they could make a unique take on the character, taking the maturity up a level while also remaining consistent with the tone the MCU has set up before)
Paul Thomas Anderson (he seems to be pretty open to the genre, i don’t think he’s done a film in the genre… I think he could potentially make a great closer to a Spider-Man trilogy.)
dog i failed day one, i’m a scrat with the nut
I was day 1 or two . I masturbate at work when bored

I do think there’s a lot of choices out there that could do just as good if not better if given full creativity
I was day 1 or two . I masturbate at work when bored
You work from home right
Edgar Wright Spider-Man trilogy

To give him a chance after ant man I would be in
Damn so many people want zendaya to die and for Peter to meet a ‘real MJ’ at college
Yeah anyone who says "the real" before anything, I know they're a white supremacist.

Spoiler : it’s raimi

and getting a baddie like Mimi Keene would be amazing
willrm dafoe as the green goblin is like 90% of why im gonna see this
The MAIN reason this movie is reaching as big as it is in hype is because of the Raimi integration
I know I sound like a d***rider but I genuinely think it’s the truth

I think it’s disingenuous and weird to pre-suppose that stan is just lying about his thoughts on Holland’s take on the character

i’ve never seen a Tom Holland movie and I’m definitely going to see this sooo ur at lesst partway right lmao
