I don’t know how much of a hot take this is

Aunt May is more important to Peter Parker than Uncle Ben

I wonder why no one on this press tour has asked Holland if he will be voicing Spidey in Freshmen Year

  • need a multiverse version of Aunt May and Uncle Ben actually with the spidey powers tbh

UNCLE BEN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER TO SPIDER MAN

    not Iron Man

spider mans universe rules for spider man movies should supersede the universe

yes of course the universe holds weight and yes of course these movies connect but to be the FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDERMAN it has to somewhat focus in the solos

    similar to BVS issues

    AAAAAAAAAAAA

I would say it’s based on context
If ur doing an origin story I was say some form of the uncle Ben story needs to be told and is vital
After Ben’s death I would say ain’t may then becomes the most important character to Peter

Not even a remotely hot take.

Obviously Ben is important but different comic runs have different interpretations.
The mcu of course made Tony take that mantle of a mentor that dies,I dont really see what the problem and whining is

In what way is that established based on screen time or moments besides “ she is hot “ . Do we ever see her deal with fact he disappeared or consistently puts his life at risk ?

    yep this too.
considering the mcu didnt gave us an origin story,i see 0 problem with tony being THAT guy.

The Freshmen Year tv show on disney+ is gonna answer that question so either way

The problem for me is It’s just not as relatable or tragic when it’s Tony stark as uncle Ben compared to an average working man
Especially if ur watching the mcu Spider-Man movies without having seen the rest of the mcu
