I dont think we should ever judge a film off a trailer especially from Marvel who’s traditionally put fake scenes/misleading scenes and tonal shifts of the actual film
The Hulk s*** is definitely a lead into Spider Man’s entrance back into the Avengers. Or atleast them re-meeting Peter. without Captain America and Iron Man there is no leader and Hulk is the most fit for it. So it makes sense
my thing tho is - do they remember him? like not as peter but as spider-man? I can't really remember the rules established in nwh
The look of the movie is growing on me more. It obviously doesn't look anywhere near as good as the Raimi films, but it will no doubt look better than the Watts films
Interestingly enough, it looks like the interior shots are much more visually interesting than the Spidey scenes. The interior shots look like they have pretty good lighting . But also that night scene with Scorpion looks like it might have good lighting too, so maybe it’s just the day scenes that look more bland
But I’m confident Destin Daniel Cretton will have some great looking Spidey scenes in this. Shang Chi and Wonder Man both had impressive shots
I’m saying stop eating up spider man Peter Parker time for avengers . Spider man makes money regardless
again what youre asking for is why theres two copyrighted versions of Spider Man. The MCU is a business bro

yea Spider Man is still known, he just asked to erase the memories of everyone knowing that Peter is spider man when he got revealed to the world. Spider Man keeps his anonymity

man this one more day s*** is such a headache - why did they do this ?
Yes
had completely forgot she’s part of the plot
i seen punisher and webslingers and that was enough for me

They did ALOT of new s*** with Tom Holland’s Spider Man that we never seen before ie Multi Verse s*** and the social media/modern aspect. So in a way it put Spider Man in a world similar to ours which is big on privacy, surveillance, exposure. Mysterio revealing his identity sorta fits the spirit of the character too.
So again, I think this version if Spider Man is the most complex and multi-layered version we’ve seen which is why the story seems so congested

to reset everything back to the sacred timeline after Mysterio
to reset everything back to the sacred timeline after Mysterio
...mightve been a little misguided and poorly executed

i hear you, i personally f***ing hate the multiverse so i guess your mileage may vary with that.

aye man, after 16+ years of movies and extended plots, you gone f*** up somewhere lmao

i hope and pray for a normal marvel universe by 2030
when mcu first started i'd always say "All i want is to see the thing, wolverine, and spider-man on screen together" It's been 20 years so far and i haven't gotten my wish, but that's the marvel I grew up with

I mean, the comics been doing it since the 60’s so as a Marvel comics lover, this is all a dream come true type s***. But not everyone is a fan of how these films are playing out for many reasons. Some people hate the cinematography, the story line, the liberal narratives. But for me i think the s***s exciting.
MCU hasnt put out a good movie since End Game tho so im hoping this is a return to form

facts. they should have just reset everything after Endgame and separated Peter/Tom from the old guard and just let him lead a new era of heroes separate from the old avengers. cause now they wasting doom on a 60 year old actor when we coulda had a decade worth of doom/F4 movies
but alas

if they’re being semi-comic book accurate, Dr Doom will be resetting the MCU or atleast earth-313 with the Avengers films, and this is where X Men will enter. Because in 313 mutant powers aint really a thing.

i've read almost every issue of amazing spider-man and have been a fan of and reading comics for 20+ years, and i feel comfortable saying with authority that multiverse have never been THAT big a deal in comics.
In marvel it's pretty much never occurred with any consequence at least up until 2012 (my knowledge gets a little hazy at that point)
And at DC yes there were crisis' and it played more of a part in the silver age, but they were very spread out and eventually everyone realized how stupid it was and was destroyed in the most influential comics event of all time.
The whole multiverse is all comics are thing is just cope that people came up with when the multiverse saga/spider-verse movies were coming out

I just don’t understand rebooting to reboot again
it’s a lot of f***ing reboots! audiences can’t keep up with that s*** lmfao. but I guess since they finally got good reviews for F4, it was inevitable

it's more like dr. doom destroys all the parellel univere's at once stiches together the scraps and makes a sort of working universe, but when the avengers/fantastic four figure out what's happening they stop him and the universe resets

gonna have to disagree on that. Secret Wars was a huge shift in the 80’s. I agree though that theyve mostly focused on multiverse stuff as of 2010’s plus, but thats sorta the nature of most science fiction media at the moment. Damn near every IP from cartoons to movies are dealing with multiverse and string theory. sorta a product of the time’s we’re in and MCU sorta pioneered that
Sony doesn’t have the balls, it would have to be part horror if they did it right
The person who leaked the details of the trailer also leaked what the movie is about which is Man Spider

that’s fair, and they have no choice in order to reintroduce everything they own now in characters to movies so it makes sense…I just don’t like the approaches lol
