I liked it because when I was a kid I would play tony hawk and they had this song going in the game. I would sing it during recess too. Then hearing it in the movie of my favorite hero just made me so happy

Also I think the band is from Queen New York so it fits

this is actually wholesome so I will allow this and applaud this

One thing I hope is that they stop making Peter such a dumbass for the sake of advancing the plot Talking during Dr. Strange's spell, giving the glasses to Mysterio. It's unbelievable how stupid he is sometimes

lol at the music choice at many of these superhero movies

Mcu loves using overused classic rock songs for their tension free action scene music videos

While DC crams as many ideas into one movie as possible (bvs, suicide squad etc) mcu is opposite they take any little character or sub plot and find a way to make full shows or movies out of em so I fully expect a Toby maguire and or Andrew Garfield spinoff movie

MCU can also be guilty of setting up too much in a movie sometimes but the difference for me is that their universe actually feels legit so I don't mind it. I believe that those characters exist in the same world

In Shazam when that kid talks about the bullet that hit Superman, it immediately felt weird to me. I couldn't imagine those characters existing in the same place as Superman. And then the cameo at the end

DC allergic to money, more movies =more money but they were so obsessed with trying to get the bonuses associated with a big time money maker like justice league they skipped like 8 movies/3 to 4 years worth of money making and world building, s*** was insane

had eddie not been dimensionally whisked into the universe, you already know they were gonna draft some s*** like the symbiote joyriding on the drifting ship stark and nebula were on back in endgame

    Introducing Miles is easy af

Just have him be a resident in the building that Peter moved in to at the end of NWH.
Rio Morales finds out that Peter is a smart college student, asks him to tutor and mentor Miles because Miles grades have been slipping after his father passed.
Peter and Miles form a bond, and the rest is history

Hell, it doesn’t even have a director yet.

Need a writer before a director

I’m still of the opinion Homecoming is a great Spider-Man flick

The Home trilogy are all high quality movies

It’s just easy to be on the MCU hate train cus they’ve been on top for so long

We can call the Spider-Verse movies masterpieces and still like the Home Trilogy

It’s okay to be fans of both. It’s not one or the other

Yeah MCU discourse is getting old when all the Twitter film bros compare every movie to them to flex their knowledge and most of the time it’s the people that only watch the biggest mainstream movies of the year that are doing the most complaining

yeah they dont need to be compared even judging them alone homecoming and far from home dont hit for me but I respect them. No way home is kind of carried by the multiverse theater watch but I am for the future of the series

Yeah it’s pretty corny and try hard to seem deep.

It’s possible to love those “REAL CINEMA KINO FILMS” and also love MCU. People try way too hard to flex how “KINO” their movie tastes are

If you love movies, why can’t you love superhero films? It doesn’t have to be a favorite genre or the type of movies you like.

But as a movie fan, why would you limit yourself to only certain kinds of films?

    That s*** is lame

To me, REAL fans of movies are open to superhero films, comedy, horror, rom-com, western, documentaries, etc

Honestly, I completely disagree with you. But I fully respect you not really being a fan of them. You’re entitled to your taste in movies

Homecoming and Far From Home are fantastic to me and I absolutely love them for how much they FEEL like what Spider-Man is to me. It feels like they took Spidey the comics and brought him to live action

With No Way Home, it was f***in beautiful to see Tobey, Andrew and Tom together. Literal man tears. But if we being real, the movie felt rushed. It’s definitely the weakest of the Trilogy for me and slightly disappointing.

I’ll always love Tobey, but I definitely think Tom Holland is the best live action depiction of Spider-Man for me
