lol at everyone who hated the strategy and thought it spelled doom

The bad thing is they may do something like this again. S*** a clip a day would be better than every hour . Doomsday 5 minute trailer soon

You got nearly 30 year old tom holland acting as a college freshman after being a high schooler for his 20s . Because they were so focused on keeping it a coming of age story . Aunt May dying when he is in high school in such a lazy contrived way vs when he is an adult . They could have crafted better writing for her than being “ happy thinks she’s hot lmfao “ over and over .

This is wrong. This movie takes place four years after No Way Home, which means he's either a senior in college or just graduated

    it's spider-man

i don't think those clips made a tangible difference

there will sadly never be accurate engagement data lol

the studio reports these numbers and a mid sized, privately owned marketing firm in london "confirms" them

like DP&W was a Super Bowl trailer that had a preannounced debut time and this doubled the viewership... hmmm

    edit: i'm not a hater

    BRAVE

    X-Men: Children of the Atom

A miniseries about the origins of the original five that takes place right before Lee and Kirby’s first issue of X-Men. William Metzger, the character that Trammell Tillman is playing in Brand New Day, is introduced here in his only comics appearance to date as the leader of the Anti-Mutant Militia.

If they’re going out of their way to adapt him, it’s safe to assume the ultimate point is to adapt this miniseries

    2

Metzger has his goons attempt to kidnap Angel

He is then saved by Charles Xavier

The next target is Jean Grey, whose powers have just started to emerge

I do care because I think shared universes often when more focused on the shared part than honoring the characters dilute the story . Which is what I have been saying in every single post if it works for you dope . If static finally got a movie and they constantly forced his movies to throw in Batman Superman cameos I would say the same thing . When they are more serving the universe than the character they don’t age well as to me the home trilogy shows

if static got a movie and thats what they did his first film, then yeah i’d understand

this character has 2 other franchises though, both of which were standalone lol

  • The trailer viewership numbers are insane . This could f*** around and make over 1.5 billi

Both with Sony mismanagement to smithereens . Finally getting to see creative freedom it’s sad the freedom is again beholden to a dying universe

you clearly have a problem with movie adaptations so why not just stick to the comics man

and if you thought Sony mismanaged and didnt provide creative freedom, why would you think it’d be different when they’re still involved lol

I don’t worship the comics man . I miss the time before universes when we got genuinely great movies . So few movies are great in universes because they are going too much busy work for others . I’ve said that 4 times now . The cartoons balanced setting up for others and cool crossovers without needing it every 10 episodes . With only 2-3 hours on the clock every 5 years sometimes budget wise too I wish they did high budget tv or smaller shorts to feel the gaps .

Mutation - its internal and external ramifications - is clearly a running theme throughout the movie
