my queen
lmao
Watched NWH with my girl yesterday for the first time since it dropped. Very frustrating movie where nothing makes sense and the characters are complete morons so things can fall into place for fan service moments
Why didn't the spell pull in everyone who knows Tobey/Andrew is Spiderman? Where's their Aunt Mays, MJ, Gwen, Harrys, Eddie Brock etc?
Tom Holland Spiderman put the entire multiverse on the line for some villains who already died. It is commendable and you can understand trying to help them is in his nature as a superhero. But I can't get behind it when keeping those people in his universe so he could help them got May killed
Spell at the end also doesn't make sense. So you got beings across the multiverse who know Peter Parker is Spiderman coming through to this universe and somehow what stops them is a spell making everyone in this universe forget who this Peter Parker is
How does erasing one Peter Parker from memory fix this? If it doesn't and all Peter Parkers were erased, then Tom a d*** for not telling Tobey and Andrew before they went back
Not to mention bringing dead characters back (fan service) and what happens to them when they get sent back to their universe

Movie sucks
Movie sucks
Just realised, Andrew sees these dead people from other universes being brought back to life and doesn't once think to look for Gwen (seems like everyone from their universes were brought to New York) or even bring up the possibility of her being alive over there
Same with Tobey and his Aunt May
I get that it's cape s*** but really annoying how the whole movie falls apart when you think about it. Tobey and Andrew feel like they were props to help Tom deal with losing May and fan service moments like recreating the Spiderman point meme, seeing all 3 of them fight together and Andrew's redemption by catching Zendaya when she was falling

the only watchable part of nwh is everything that happens after may dies
Just imagine for a second, if this was the greatest internet swerve of all time ππ
Seeing that Doomsday trailer made me realize, damn, I really do only care about Spider-Man at this point.

Has anyone on this press tour asked Kevin why the f*** Spider-Man was not involved in the takedown of Mayor Fisk?
I really want to see him explain his way out of that lmao
Damn, I gotta say, something that the trailers have managed to do quite successfully is not reveal the timeline of events in the movie.
Itβs genuinely kind of hard to gauge where scenes actually occur within the runtime.
Watching No Way Home Extended
Iβm kind of digging the smaller additions to the movie so far
Holy s*** they cut so much from the theatrical lmao
But I see why because the plot has grounded to a halt

Having Jonah sell supplements like Alex Jones is gold
But again cutting to his news reports halts the story

Ok the extended version of the Spiders talking flows a lot better
This may be one of the times where I think the theatrical cut is better than the extended version.
Another day closer.

wtf is this

pretty good sign if tom said he only wanted to come back for brand new day if there was a compelling enough story to tell as opposed to making movies because the mcu demanded it
hopefully they can deliver, i really want to like it
