Kind of wish their fight was throuhgout the city while navigating people going about their day a bit more. I love when that happens in Spider Man but I get post BVS everyone afraid to have fights directly in society.

Superman
Batman
Spider-Man
Wolverine
Hulk
are the only heroes my dad knows and he'll still tell me when he sees a new movie of them is coming out

Spider-Man chasing big wheel throughout the city soon
I been wanting the games to be fights throughout the city too
After sitting on it a couple days, I’d probably put my new top 5 ranking as:
1. SM2 (5/5)
2. ATSV (5/5)
3. ITSV (4.5/5)
4. SM1 (4/5)
5. BND (3.5/5)
I’m actually surprised at how close BND and HC are for me, though the former is a better looking film, with better performances, more mature themes, and significantly improved action setpieces, HC arguably has the tighter script, better pacing overall and features a Top 3 SM movie villain with the Vulture.
I still think the first 2 Raimi movies and Spider-Verse movies are just better made films overall, clearly with better screenwriters at the helm.
Holland’s movies, ultimately I find to be great times at the movies, but I’m far less likely to rewatch them on a whim as I would with the others on my list.
8/10
I really enjoyed this one. Holland really came into his own in performance. The street level feeling really elevates this above the last two. I’d say it’s neck and neck with Homecoming so far. I’m a little bit disappointed in the villain, but it was a solid adventure over all that actually has me curious about Spider-Man 5.
For live-action
1. Spider-Man 2
2. Spider-Man
3. Spider-Man: Brand New Day=Spider-Man Homecoming
4. Spider-Man 3
5. The Amazing Spider-Man
6. Spider-Man: Far From Home
7. Spider-Man: No Way Home
8. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
First day high wearing off

You hate mj and Ned??

Is a billion worldwide opening weekend in the cards?
realistically, how impressive is this? every major marvel movie breaks the previous record. i like its just a natural rise rather than something groundbreaking.
feels similar to the same streaming records being broken every year
Homecoming not bad its probably second to me but above this is crazy
NWH the worst one imo
Nonstop slop…

I mean, it means this is in line to become a top 3 highest grossing movies of all time.
And a lot of people were convinced that Engame’s records wouldn’t be broken anytime soon given how theaters have been kind of struggling the last few years.
There’s also the fact that Endgame was the culmination of 10 years of movies, while this is the 4th installment of the new Spider-Man franchise that’s predominantly solo.
was as close to a connection to x men as you can get without it being an x men movie my man what do you mean
Like obviously theyre introducing Jean but theres no allusion to the X men team or what she’s going to be in the future. They didn’t do any setting up. For the purposes of this movie shes just a person with powers who needs Spider mans help. To be clear its not a criticism. It was just different than what I thought they might do
i think Suite New Day might be one of my fav superhero themes since battinson’s. not as good as Elfman’s work with Raimi but it really scratches a part of my brain perfectly
Giacchino is so good
Watching this tonight, I’m hype.
Just finished my Home trilogy rewatch last night.
NWH is still a good watch imo.
It obviously has glaring flaws….visually you can easily tell it’s a covid film especially in the first half. And the first act is pretty messy narratively
But once Norman makes his turn to evil, the movie doesn’t let up and everything after that is all pretty great. Still wild that the film even exists, not sure how they pulled it off
