I think the success of this is not only a testament to the success of the Spider-Man character in the MCU, but also outside of it.

No Way Home, The Spider-Verse movies, the games, all built up to this moment here. The MCU being on a hot streak right now certainly helped as well

Really? I didn’t like 2 all that much and the MJ missions want me to pull my eyeballs out at times but it’s by far the best spider-man iteration as far as the characters and story go imo

For sure, it’s still just wild that MCU is managing to pull these numbers 7 years after Endgame.
Endgame really raised the bar for the box office, and everyone’s been saying it’s been downhill from there and the MCU couldn’t hit those heights again

This is good news for Doomsday tbh. MCU is winning back a lot of goodwill with these last few projects

It really helps that we were able to watch Tom grow up throughout these films. He was literally just a kid when he first appeared in the MCU
