But nah Spider-Man was fr a cop this movie

Yeah the face tracking s*** was insane. I don't think I remember any spidey stories I've consumed where he's done s*** like that lol.

Now I see why the X-men didn't f*** with him in his 97' series lol

God I hope he f***ing dies

Why did it bother me? Because I haven’t seen anything Punisher. I haven’t seen any MCU s*** besides the main line movies. But the more the MCU goes the more they reference s*** from shows and whatnot. So being this character was brought in from the show I assumed it was something I missed.

To me the “inside joke” A) wasn’t even that amusing and B) begs the audience to wonder if they missed something given the state of the MCU

You prolly seen everything Marvel so it landed for you. Disney caters to loyalists who watch everything not the casuals like me

I haven’t seen everything marvel lmao it was just obviously something made up for them to argue about and produce a funny gimmick throughout the movie.

Yep but this wasn’t mentioned. Just feel it was obviously something just brought up for those arguing scenes to be used as a joke. You didn’t miss anything by not watching but I get why you might think you did.

  • MJ in her Challengers voyeur bag watching the boys play legos

  • Yolena was in heat I know Spidey was smelling that monkey

    I watched it several times

  • Peter was on some non consent timing too he had to clear it up

  • BRAVE

Ok you’re just anti MCU for it’s own sake on a surface level cause how do you have all these complaints about substance in Spidey films to the point you don’t like Brand New Day but you enjoy…TASM 2 more? How is that film not the epitome of what you complain about, with the exception of not being in the MCU?

i am anti mcu that s*** f***ing sucks

  • Ned is deep on the spectrum. I either forgot that or the memory wipe did a number on him

The Man Spider blue balls was real in this…. Could’ve been an all timer man

  • Peter found Clav and Nick Fuentes since we last seen him

  • Tom Holland accent is actually atrociously bad and even worse that he’s trying now… he’s still a good Spidey despite that but imagine if he wasn’t a Brit

    1. The staten island joke is not meant to e an MCU reference. There is no Punisher appearance where Spider-Man saves him in Staten Island
    2. I know you know the trope of showing two characters banter about a situation they were in as shorthand for having history. This is that trope, it’s not a “you have to watch the MCU to get it” type thing. This is a “they call it a royale with cheese” type thing

Thanks Brave I already acknowledged that I was mistaken. Nice touch to compare this writing to Pulp Fictions. Gotta love MCU fans ♥️

  • Disappointing that Jackie wasn’t actually involved but also good that Jackie’s legacy will be passed on

Legit some of the best action in MCU. I was so overwhelmingly impressed with it
