Peter working at Daily Bugle just doesn’t make sense anymore. Nobody reads newspapers, people are online and anybody can get high quality pictures of Spider-Man due to smartphones now.
Plus a person with Peter’s talents is better off doing some science/tech related freelance work for money if he needs it.

JJJ is a great character, I think changing him to a podcaster for modern times is smart and wish he had some presence here, even in the background. Hope he returns in the next part and they don’t make him into an Alex Jones type, he’s not supposed to be all evil or anything.
