Okay lets see what happened to him? Hmm well he was captured, used as an involuntary experiment for a weapons program, forced to painfully bond adamantium to his skeleton and had his mind erased. He was clearly seen as a threat and then attempted to turn into an immortal weapon against his will. Probably one of the best examples for what can happen if mutants allow humans to have their way

They'll make up a way to save his origin. They're going to be balancing so many wonky timeline explanations when the world unifies post-SW. Somehow F4 will retain a 60's origin, T'Challa II is somehow an adult and mutants have now somehow long-existed.
My reading is he and Xavier don't exist currently before Avengers encounter the Fox era characters and F4. BND is so detatched and forward looking that it introduces Jean, but doesn't mention mutants as a concept. Somehow they'll have to strike a bargain for the new universe/timeline that retains origins and explains upcoming stories. I'm sure when this X-Men film releases as the first look at new MCU the story will be mutants long-existed

the proposed idea wud be in bad taste/open a can of worms that marvel barely has the nuance to navigate. i can already hear bigots complaining about a race swap or him not being jewish. feel like the obvious and predictable route is that they'll opt for a time jump via the multiverse or explain away the slowed aging process on account of erik's x-gene

A lot of it is anger for her. The Chinese devs for Rivals have been neglecting developing costumes and creating content for the black characters of Marvel rivals
