I mean I wouldnt even be surprised if they have her be mexican in the plot itself would be a tough change cause fans going to react. But the character itself of rogue is more than having a fat ass, big b**** and southern actress to me. I get people want to see fan service and look exactly like the comic or cartoon but personally I want to see the soul of the character and create an emotional story even if it isnt that level of fan service.

Being beholden to fan service at times has done them in and hindered actual good storytelling.

she was horrific in obsession lol she will be more than just cute here. She will definitely be somewhat emo or deal with issues with getting close to people very well. That feeling of isolation. Again I dont understand seeing that performance by sadie sink as jean ( who is the lead of this movie) and acting like Inde wont be able to hold her own

the irony is Pedro Pascal casting in last of us is how they acting about Inde as Rogue

he was doing a lot in the trailer lol

I will say: if there’s one singular MCU casting that I like a bit less than the rest, it’s Pedro as Reed

But I enjoyed him in First Steps and hope that in Doomsday and Secret Wars he clicks with me more

People get in their h**** fan casting brain then they will keep acting like they know better than the director, casting director, kevin feige and whatever money or contracts were written up. S*** is so overly annoying at a certain point. Especially because of these same exact people after obsession when she said she wanted to do a nerd movie or likely a hero movie said "I hope she does"

when they are the very toxic fanbase I feared her dealing with.
