Insiders go crazy then they speculate audition tapes .when it’s like at the end of the day it is what it is . This isn’t a voting process . They never going to post audition tapes and say “ help us decide “ then reveal all the contract negotiations . It’s funny that in many cases anime fans actually more chill when it comes to fan casting and game fans because they know how bad writing or direction can be so they are grateful regardless

I’m starting to notice that the MCU intentionally doesn’t cast popular fancasts. They even made a joke out of it by casting Kransiski as a variant of Reed when he was the most popular fancast

I mean I think also actors audition for the roles they want . Dont alway accurately say what roles they auditioned for or hint at something else. Then they see where the chips fall and let insiders gossip . Also contract negotiation and conflicts with other projects we dont know about

But compare this to the DCU where we’ve seen multiple fancasts actually get casted by James Gunn.

I dont really follow fancast that closely to know which ones. So far my issue with DCU isnt on casting necessarily as writing and direction. Tone . Worldbuilding elements. Which actually are issues in both universes in many ways for me.
