they used to be able to meld humor seriousness and tone so much better not cutting music for laughter or such precanned moments. It just felt so much more natural . Hero movies now feel like a broadway play because like in a play they kind of look at the crowd more rather than each other. They angled to the crowd like they know the crowd is there and that the crowd is about to laugh

The amount hero movies now a day angle it so that we are literally always looking at the face of the star power that they dont want to waste a second of not looking at their face even at unnatural moments is baffling.
