Seems like there was a lot of conflict between him and people above him, think he did the right thing talking about it tbh. Although even then he was still a bit weird about how he went about it.

I think most of season 2 was planned out and written before he got fired, so hopefully they don’t change a lot. But it’ll definitely get worse.

Thinking about this from an audience and cultural pov, the most timeless way to come at the MCU X-Men would be to continue the tradition of ‘universal and timeless teamup adventure movies with colorful characters that takes inspiration from the film that perfected it - The Wizard of Oz’, done by Star Wars and The Avengers

Star Wars - The Wizard of Oz x The Hidden Fortress x Joseph Campbell x WW2

The Avengers - The Wizard of Oz x The Fellowship of the Ring x Transformers

Considering the best X-Men source material, it should be at least The Wizard of Oz x The Sorcerer’s Stone (which has a lot of resemblance to Star Wars funny enough)

The other film inspiration would be natural to whatever X-Men source material is used, ie Transformers being natural inspiration for already adapting the Cosmic Cube per Captain America

Across the greater Mutant pantheon since Stan and Jack, who is parallel to the three facets of Christ like Gandalf, Aragorn and Frodo? Of the top of my head:

The resurrected guiding spirit - Charles Xavier
The rightful king - Scott Summers
