“Uncanny X-Men” would go incredibly hard
They don’t have the sauce like this
Thunderbolts was cool but he not built for that title fr
Insane woman Grace Randolph kinda had a point about how the MCU has kicked off X Men in a weird way
Part of the intrinsic themes of the X Men is that they’re persecuted for immutable, innate abilities they’re born with. There are bad ones and more radical ones, but the persecution they get has to feel undeserving, unwarranted and bigoted even! Yet they’ve begun the arc with Jean giving the DOD, the police and the civilian population genuine reason to want them under control, surveilled or even inhibited and it kinda sets it off wrong from the jump
or just weighs the anti mutant side with too much ammo from the very start
I posted in Bond thread but throwing Tom Blythe in for Gambit
This hard
No I was asking if the post I saw was a joke or not, my b
dont think he's been mentioned or even speculated yet. just a very popular/consensus fancast

shuda jus launched the x-men film as the main new starting point for everyone on team rather than continuing to sprinkle this dumbass "are they mutant.. maybe?" s*** throughout the universe via cameos
Beast gonna be sexy as hell
What do we think the film will be titled
Would be cool for them to go with The Mutants and then change it to The X-Men later on similar to Thunderbolts --> The New Avengers.
Likely they'll just go with The X-Men though.

I see the point but I think Jean's actions being considered retaliation still creates a sympathetic angle for the mutant plight.
But yea making one of more prominent mutants first appearance an antagonist in another movie is a bit strange.
Really hope they dont shy away from the politics behind mutants.
Really felt they did a disservice to the Supehero registration act with the Sokovia accords pretty much not having much impact. They better not do the same with the mutant registration act
how accurate have ‘the leaked’ casting been so far
Well… the only one officially announced (Weaving) hadn’t been leaked lol

Felt very similar to Scarlett Witch. Maybe trying to recreate the popularity of that character with Jean which wouldn’t be a bad idea

I think it's kinda interesting tbh like right now yeah the mutants are dangerous af
so maybe Prof x will form the team as response to that

Theirs no way they don’t use the “X-Men” name
The Mutants was the alleged leaked name right?
There was some Marvel executive who said the name was outdated or some s*** and they may not go with X-Men
