Have fans even been theorizing about BP2 the right way? Cus i just realized at least on KTT2 we've been looking at this in such a simple and useless way in regards to the next story or how they move on from Boseman. Was thinking about WV and somehow my mind trailed to this.

T'Challa and Shuri were snapped away for FIVE YEARS. Surely someone ran the country in the mean time which already allows for the introduction of a new BP or an existing person like M'Baku, Nakia, or Okoye (the latter makes more sense to me considering she was a right hand man, proven leader and was there when he died). Maybe even a communal rule considering the trauma and hardship of the snap

There's no random need to revive MBJ to rule who would have been dead for even longer (a few months more). He's an afterthought to current 2023 Wakanda that ran around for a few weeks lol. When T'Challa gets snapped back he's not even King anymore, and the pick up for that has yet to be explored.

We've been acting like they pick up as if nothing about Wakanda really changed and they have to find a way to manage T'Challa exiting when in the MCU he's been dead for 5 years, reappeared for Thanos battle, and just never reassumed power. The transition already happened behind the scenes. All of this talk of recasts, multiverse and bringing back people from the dead isn't needed with the potential political issues thats already here. Like T'Challa was already not a part of MCU Wakanda or their BP

i've searched a bit and saw a thread and article pondering stuff like that but it was before Boseman passed. Just odd almost all of our dialogue since had been so misplaced and not actually thinking about where Wakanda is in 2023

Regé-Jean Page might play Kasper Cole (White Tiger) who was also once the Black Panther

    Interesting choice.
Would be an interesting dynamic when Shuri gets appointed as queen and he gets the title of the Black Panther.

Sarah Finn is one of the best (i'd even say the best) casting director in the industry right now, even outside of the MCU

I liked MBJ way more than Chadwick, maybe he sould have been BP from the beggining?

Shuri is cool, she's like a female Tony Stark, which is useful right now since Tony is dead, but I don't know if she's interesting enough to be the lead and play BP.

I'm not a big fan of BP, I think it's mad overrated, some ranks even put it at number 1 lmao, hope the second one will be better.

    ):

Like many who knew the intensely private Boseman, Coogler was not aware of Boseman's illness. "I didn't know what was going on," Coogler says. "I knew what he wanted me to know. I miss him in every way that you could miss somebody, as a friend, as a collaborator. And it sucks because I love watching movies, and I don't get to watch the next thing he would have made. So it's grief on a lot of levels, but then, it's a deep sense of gratitude because I can close my eyes and hear his voice."

Coogler was in the midst of writing the Black Panther sequel when Boseman died. "It's difficult," he says of proceeding with the film, which is slated to start production in July for a July 2022 release. "You've got to keep going when you lose loved ones. I know Chad wouldn't have wanted us to stop. He was somebody who was so about the collective. Black Panther, that was his movie. He was hired to play that role before anybody else was even thought of, before I was hired, before any of the actresses were hired. On that set, he was all about everybody else. Even though he was going through what he was going through, he was checking in on them, making sure they were good. If we cut his coverage, he would stick around and read lines off camera to help other actors with their performances. So it would be harder for me to stop. Truthfully. I'd feel him yelling at me, like, 'What are you doing?' So you keep going."

There is speculation about Alternate Universe Doctor Strange. We know there's alternate Spider Mans. It would interesting if they do the same with all the characters. That would be a good way to replace Chadwick.

Shouldn’t we know by now who’s gonna do the soundtrack?
