I’m firmly on team recast. The character itself T’Challa is too important to be 1 and done on the big screen. Chadwick’s legacy is bigger than just BP, and I’m sure he wouldn’t want it to end with him.

Firmly against MBJ somehow becoming T’Challa anyone suggesting that needs to play in traffic. He’s perfect as N’Jadaka/Erik Killmonger. If they wanna resurrect him as that, then I’m fine, but I’d leave him dead for at least BP2.

I think it actually works just cus of how much "Wakanda Forever" was pushed the first movie. BP is just a mantle that can be handed down but the real source of power is Wakanda itself. Of course losing T'Challa is massive but Wakanda has no choice but to move on and improve. He's not the first or last Black Panther and has lost the mantle and his title as king multiple times

They can easily fill movies in with domestic conflicts in the nation or wars against Atlantis or even Latveria. Someone like Shuri will eventually take the mantle but i don't think they'd be the sole focus anymore like your average superhero film

You can trust Coogler to write good characters, so I ain't worried tbh.
