Honestly the only thing that I think doesn’t hold up still is the shotty CGI and some over-the top acting from the villains and that good ol late 90’s early 2000’s cheesy-ness.

Fights are still fun to watch and cool set pieces

Snipes really nailed it with Blade like with Jackman as Wolverine

As for the 3rd movie it’s bleh but I don’t hate it. Just the whole “Blade teams up with a new group” just for them to get wiped out like in the 2nd seems pointless.

Starting to like the 2nd one a little bit more cause of what they were able to add to Blade’s abilities/fights with the (dated) visual effects

Also random breaks he has with the whole “stoic” persona still cracks me up

Part 2 is low key an epic especially for its time. Blade having to work with the vampires due to this hardcore new breed thats too deadly, his rivalry with Ron Perlman, whistler beef with blades new henchman, him falling for the vampire daughter, the ridiculous soundtrack
