Yeah apparently

instead of stretchy arms, it’s more like green lanterns power of glowing energy that morphs into big hands / stretchy hands etc

and she gets it from an accessory rather than being an inhuman or mutant

Her and Mr Fantastic had same powers and both are being introduced in the same phase so I could see them changing hers or tweaking it

Me too TBH. Like you said, we are already getting a stretchy guy soon

AND that kind of effect has very rarely looked good in movies yet. So I doubt they wanna spend the money figuring it out/making it work for a Disney plus show

I don't know how I feel about this one. While I understand stretching is a WOAT superpower from a cinematic standpoint it's such a huge part of Kamala's character.

This wouldn't be too bad so long as it's still paying homage or in reference to her original powers. Hopefully the visuals aren't too mimic-y of what we've already seen from others.

He’s trying too hard. The 3 female characters stories are linked why would they need to make “3 separate movies” at this point

I only know her from The Avengers game. How’s her stretch powers a part of her character?

It's her notable power. She has always been able to morph her body, which includes her usual displays of limb elongation and body modification, on top of having a mutant healing factor.

The powers somewhat mirror herself as a person, being that she is her own identity and does not have to fit into another person's shoes. When emerging from the Terrigen cocoon, she unconsciously took the form of Captain Marvel, since she idolizes her.

It would be a bit weird to change something that's pretty symbolic and important in her growth.
