Foggy dying in episode 1\. Multiple creators (including Cox himself) have done interviews the past few days basically avoiding any responsibility.
When you've got Charlie Cox saying "I still don't think it's the right move", that's not great lmao
I mean to be fair don't characters who are important to daredevil die all the time in the comics? Not saying whether it's gonna be handled well or not

Ironically, I'm pretty sure Foggy is like the one guy that no one ever kills off because of how destructive and diminishing it'd be to Matt's character.
Even the show kinda regretted killing Ben in S1 bc they had to fill his role with that other guy in S2 and 3\. And they flat-out avoided killing Karen, in part because her dying in the comics wasn't really well-received either.

There was that time in the Chip Zdarsky run where Foggy died for 4 issues but Matt ended up going to hell to fight and bring him back
Reactions are already over the top. I’m expecting a meh show just like every other MCU show or movie these days.
Nothing will ever match the first show. I bet this won’t even have good dialogue like that first show. No great characters like Ray Nadeem for example

Exactly.
Killing him is like killing Alfred in Batman. It's like....basically no outcome or story justifies the removal of something that central to the character. Part of the characters' value stems from their supporting cast who tether them to reality and goodness. The more of those key supporting characters you get rid of (especially for shock value), the worse off the main one will be.

Well granted Alfred has been dead in the main DC continuity for like 5 years now lmao but I get what you're saying

Also you could certainly make good batman stories without alfred
Why would they say this? Way to spoil foggy’s death
Stupid as f***

Thanks for spoiling it with your post

I mean I don’t actually know since I haven’t seen the show, but they’re making it pretty obvious that something is going to happen to a beloved character. Why else would they say this?
Why did they even feel the need to announce this? Just let people be shocked and surprised
That fight choreography
His punches have always looked bad man lmao

Let’s be real here
The original show got hyped off nostalgia
When it dropped it was heavily criticized (foggy and Karen were annoying, bad choreography) now people craved for them back as characters and are complaining about the same choreography lol
And season 2 was pretty much considered trash (it was mid)
Season 3 saved the show
His punches have always looked bad man lmao
This! The famous hallway scene has some horrible punches

Sure but that’s not an excuse, he got this s*** lookin like 60s Batman lol

This is like 2 seconds of probably a 5 minute fight lmao
Can't judge it all off that
Not the clip I would've put in the spot but it is what it is
The punches have looked much much much worse. Who cares? If fake punches make or break this show for you that is stupid.
yeah dude.
Kinda unconvinced this won't suck considering the way all the creators and actors keep deflecting blame for the backlash they're about to get lmfao
Smh f*** me diagonal
