Wish I could say I liked this more...didnt hate it and I'll be tuning in next season but this just felt all over the place and poorly put together at times...slow mo shots were annoying the s*** out of me too
The constant "to kill or not to kill" s*** between Frank and the others is one of the reasons I hated the Defenders and they had to go back to it again of course
head smashing scene in the finale was gnarly but overall just felt like a set up for next season instead of wrapping things up from this season in a more satisfying manner

Only issue I had with this finale was the slow motion during that fight in the apartment. Felt like a Snyder movie. Was way too much.

Hated that lol Matt yelling at Frank not to kill people will always be silly like either stop working with him or take him down but you know how dude operates ...also bummed me out that was Daredevils only fight scene in the finale s\*\*\* just felt underwhelming
Finale was good overall but they really need to tighten up the fight scenes in season 2 man
Also I know this is just a nitpick and you kinda have to just suspend disbelief due to budget and s***, but New York on a power outage with Fisk’s task force running rampant around the city and no Spider Man whatsoever? At the very least they gotta try to snag Holland for a guest appearance in the finale next season or something
I fully understand and get why this season is such a mess but man it’s laughable how Muse was supposed to be the main villain of season 1 & because of the creative overhaul he turned into this underdeveloped character thrust in a terribly paced story that only lasted… checks notes…. 2 episodes lmao. There’s quite a few things and characters in this season that were gonna be carried over regardless but you can just tell Muse would’ve 100% been cut out entirely had he not been such an integral part of the original story
Anyways, glad we got the predictably dogshit batch of episodes out the way. Last 2 episodes should hopefully be back to business
I’m trying to understand if the original before the creative overhaul was supposed to be lighter in tone then how would a character like Muse work for the main villain?

my issue was how dark the fight scenes were. both this and the bullseye scene in episode 1. i had to turn my brightness up to see what the f*** was going on.
Fun season. Great finale. Peter Parker doing jack s*** during anarchy is funny as hell though
Finale was really good. Feels unfinished as a story but obviously season 2 will tie things up. Sucks that we gotta wait a year tho
This definitely had the most violent thing ever in the MCU as a whole man. Like damn.
Hopefully next season will be more cohesive (it should be) and they fix the fight choreography or the editing. Those are my only real nitpicks of the season aside from the Muse stuff just wrapping up too quick for my taste. Heather is kind of insufferable when it comes to Matt and Fisk but I didn’t hate her.
Couple of spoilery MCU nerdy things I want to talk about
So is New York still under martial law during Thunderbolts? Is is time thing that takes place before Born Again Season 1 or after Season 2? I mean having a team of super heroes coming to New York to fight off Sentry would be illegal right? Also the devastation the events of that movie are going to cause are pretty significant.
Overall I would put this Season above Season 2 (which I still like a lot). It’s kind of a miracle that they were able to pull this season together from their original direction. The show is better for it. Now let’s ride this high into a stronger Season 2 (5).

Thunderbolts would be considered government sanctioned right since Val is having them do s\*\*\* and then you got Bucky who’s a congressman or some s\*\*\*? That is a good question though
niggas like where is spider-man
bro where is luke cage? you gon let this c***big bro you like this? Luke??? Luke??????

I guess. Federal Law would override state in that case
Hoping the get all the Defenders back. Add in Colleen Wing and possibly maybe Moon Knight if they can make that work lmao
Lmao. Bruce had a bomb blow a whole ass block and didnt even send Robins ass lmao.
Great season, really liked the way they put Frank again on the spotlight. Only thing I feel is kinda bad is rushed
