Yea graphics always been a secondary, or even tertiary thing for me. Gameplay is always gonna be my main concern

Need ? no. I just want better boss fights. Especially less on rails or multiple ways to approach bosses some how. For me bosses are part of the highlight to me is the boss villains. Bosses were just okay game 1 for me. Same as I felt about side quest but I loved the suits . As repetitive as the hideouts were was fun to play around using the suits. Most main quest story missions game 1 were just okay for me

yeah ngl most of the first game and miles were just okay to me. suits and swinging were the highlight. combat can be fun but gets kinda stale

hope we get a whole new collection of suits

basically all of this. Gameplay trailer didn't address many of my concerns but will get it eventually

hopefully they redesign mj to give her a serviceable ass this time

You can't have Goblin and Venom in one game. Both need a big build up. Build up to Goblin in this game on the side and make him the main villain in the third game. That makes way more sense to me. Adding in Venom and Green Goblin is too much Nerd Tobey Spiderman 3 to me

Lizard can be kept to QTE and I wouldn't even care

Venom , Goblin and Kraven in a 30-40 hour game isn't overly stuffed though.

last game had 16 villains and it didnt feel overly stuffed either

each batman game had 10+ villains and those weren't stuffed either

kraven got a whole subplot about finding people to hunt and kill to test his metal. theres no way goblin kraven venom and lizard are the only villains.

side quests were repetitive I hope they have more inventive ones in the second game

you're comparing a movie to a video game. like others have said, the first game had more than 3, and so do the arkham games.

just depends on how theyre utilized, but theres more than enough space and game time for those main 3 + side villains

I commented on this initially about how many villains should be in each game, but I feel as though goblin should be a main villain. It seems like kraven is the big bad this time around however, venom is also crucial to the storyline it seems...

I cant tell what the main plot is bc we already have like 3 big story threads in the trailer. Spiderman 1 gameplay trailer had kingpin and mr negative so I guess there could be more too it

I guess what im saying is its equally plausible that goblin is hidden in the trailer or hes being saved as a big bad for the third game

Side quest were atrocious but people loved 100% it so I guess I could be out of touch but I struggle with games that get tedious or filler like

I also feel old cause a lot of these games people call masterpieces feel like really big and repetitive for no reason like just copy and pasted content

im totally ok with 40 hour games. I dont need every gaming experience to be 120+ hours.

yeah that is kind of my thing. Once you game for like 20 years a lot of formulas or mechanics don't give the same reward they possibly would if we didn't play so many different games. Also obviously immersion combined with life
