This actually a smart move. Introducing Miles in this expansion where he can be the focus and then killing Peter off in one of the sequels, so its not as jarring and we already have some background to the character when we have to play as Miles

Not sure how well this style would translate to gameplay and it would be a b**** to develop. Apparently Into the Spiderverse took 4 years to make with 800 people, it took a week just to perfect a second of the movie. Now imagine a game, where players have freedom of movement

Don't particularly want him dead but it makes the most sense to me. They're probably planning to make a video game MCU out of this. Why should they limit themselves to 2 or 3 Spiderman games starring Peter which will eventually bore the audience (personally I'd be out after 3 if it's just Peter in every game), when they can stretch it to a 4 or 5 game series with multiple protagionists And Insomniac have already shown they're not afraid to kill off main characters :jordancry:

If their going to actually progress Peter's story into his adulthood/family life I'm interested. But if their just going to keep prolonging single young adult peter like the comics they might as well move on to miles imo
