you can literally see who you are chasing they dont show it at all parts of the game. If you possibly lose who you are chasing cool but to see that line at all times and not be able to toggle it off is weird. in previous games it with scent you would use that at specific times and player controls the toggle to look for clues or what have you in game design doing a direct line like a gps when the player can see who they are chasing I thought it was an accsssibility setting when I first looked at it. Its doing a bit much when you have to be willing to let a player fail. I have already heard people say during parts the game wants them to run they will stand still or the chase try standing still. it shouldnt look like "okay there is no fail state or the game will wait for me to catch up" in a chase obstacles help or "oh s*** I can leap to get him" or something in the player control where it actually feels a bit more thrilling chase

thats why when they release video like that it gets "what is this"

and its not just "I hate woke people " "console wars " because I watched the previews before looking at any of the internet reaction

its not about agree. I had my opinion as soon as I saw the footage. my opinion isnt changing I know he is a superhero s*** I know he has had scent in games before often used for invisible enemies which is a good use of it. Hope they do so in this game.

I am only saying that to say . I didnt look on twitter to form my opinion I was saying it from seeing the preview and the gameplay. I am saying not everyone saying certain things is in a hate mob or influenced. its a natural reaction to some of what we saw

Not everyone has gamepass and it’s on both consoles. If it’s a game that majority of people will most likely need to pay for I expect the same criticisms. You don’t get to pick and choose because a company hurt your feelings over physical discs or because the budget is larger lol.

The criticism of wolverine is about more than digital only or large budget. The gameplay they showed literally isnt the greatest depiction of the game I said this with laufey saying it was 20 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay. As I did for phantom blade zero which starts a bit on rails then second half of trailer great. Xbox games are critiqued at much harsher levels than this

starfield got cooked to smithereens

Fable you can marry any npc and gets cooked and has shown us much more gameplay than wolverine and its not even this year.

the devs are making 6 figures regardless the game wont fail and they arent getting laid off. I am not going to feel terrible for them that some basic safe design formula they have been using gets criticized they will be okay
