I mean it's no different the way naughty dog stages their foot chase scenes in uncharted and tlou. Those you can tell are holding your hand just in a different way. There is no red line or whatever but the camera and whatnot makes sure it is focused on what you are supposed to do. Idk where I'm going with that just seems kinda relevant lol

I call those out too brother as do many gamers. Naughty Dog and the playstation formula of doing that is often what people call movie games. S*** Gears of war did it some for spurts when it was trying to play with pacing and show the player something without them looking away but the amount games did it in 2006 ( Gears of War genuinely the first that I can think did it ) to now is a bit insane. Its a lot to take control away from the player because you want them to look one specific direction, run forward one certain way with no obstacles really stopping them

you clowning car repairs over talking about a video game but I am in a bad mood. When not a single post I make about this game has been malicious I have been talking about the gameplay and mechanics . Saying its 8/10 , will be nominated for goty but doesnt look mind blowing. I said some of the same sentiments about First Light. I have this and first light at about the same positions

The issue is many of you dont read so you see many words and think its negative when in reality. I am saying some fears about the combat. Missing when suits had individual abilities. Asking if claws will react differently.

Yeah its a bit odd but people used to not take video game voice acting so seriously but with budgets going up and some games trying to be movies. I get not loving the delivery on this but I am not there for the cutscenes or storytelling personally I dont think that is insomniacs greatest strong suit.

I think expecting hero games to have great writing and emotional storytelling is a bit far. Especially a wolverine game. Just get high and laugh . Voice acting in Phantom Blade Zero on english voices a bit dry looking too but will play Japanese
