what inspires you to focus
on mastering versus other areas of engineering?

My focus is based on my favorite thing I notice with the music I listen to. I've found that my favorite recordings are all coming from a small set of mastering engineers that I've grown to really appreciate. It's made me realize that the mastering process is the part of music creation that I appreciate the most outside of the artist themselves.
