It's not necessarily a bad thing. But when the end comes you can tell stuff was cut in service of making it cut through more for sequel set up

I do. I'm tired of you not seeing it & you can't talk about it that much If you haven't. Can't look at this movie with green tinted shades though. The line "using old code to make something new" is really important.

As a fan of the old movies I really think that if you just accept that this is different, that it's sticking with an internet that was never static & has a new form, even if it looks garish compared to the past. All the stuff that made the matrix the matrix is still there. It's a matrix for the present, for better or for worse. I really enjoyed it & teared up a few times
