This too, but I was moreso speaking on how it comments on people who took the wrong things out of the original film and missed the whole point.
It feels the movie is going "Oh, I'm a give y'all what you think you want with none of the satisfaction. Now go touch grass"
Just like End of Evangelion.
Like the part where they're like "when you think of Matrix, you think of Bullet Time"
And I'm sitting here like "Wow, they are really about to make this whole movie about why there shouldn't be another movie". Very bold, albeit a little too on the nose at times...
Then it turns into another Matrix movie anyways.

the second half to me was still about why you should never make another I know some think it sets up perfectly for a sequel but it doesnt it does the opposite. Yes they want the suits control to end but they are changing the matrix back to the same fuel and situation as the original trilogy. as in this basically resets most things back to matrix 1
they have power and high standing/ high rises but everyone else is trapped. they got a new chance at life and can potentially free the universe but still let most live in ignornace or continue taking blue pills
they could remove blue pills entirely from the universe they choose not to

Will be meta expect it to remind you of the first movie in many ways with flash backs Utilized . Why Morpheus isn’t there 100% makes sense. Why Hugo isn’t there is more of a rewrite obviously but works as well . I get the best of black mirror meets the matrix vibes from it
