just state what you don't like about the movie and leave politics and "i'm being called a transphobe for no good reason" out of it and you should be fine... and if you handle criticism better you won't feel like you're being cornered

I'm not innocent in s***. I like to make jokes too. One thing is making jokes another one, is using sensitive subjects to destroy people. The only time I did that was when I made homeless jokes and I knew I went to far but he pissed me. This dude is out here calling everyone racist, transphobic and saying people deserve death and to die alone.

we're literally observing something you've said which was inconsiderate and not a smart argument... doesn't make you the worst person alive

what does make it worse is you defending it and acting victim instead of owning up to a poor choice of phrasing or an example you should've kept out... and kept it rolling no biggie

Try going up being one of the only white kids in a black hood and see how everyone treats you. Until I finally found my group I got beat up and robbed a lot. And when I finally found my group, I was still the only white kid. And I got arrested and kicked in the head by the police just for hanging out with black kids.

So there's racism in both sides, even tho its the whites fault. So no I don't agree with victim mentality.

I didn't make any transphobic comment, I said the critics are hypocrites who are afraid of being cancelled. I said the Chapelle comedy special had his bright spots besides the bullshit TERF comments so the rating was politically motivated.

"even tho it is the whites fault" crucial piece there.. and yeah that sucks to hear you went through all that, nah fr, sad part is the way you're treated is literally how black people are treated as well, so that shows you it's more poverty and bad environments than neighborhoods really... aside from the "white boy" slurs

and trust me, no matter how good black people or even I behave, we get confronted with that bs.

in any case, can you accept that this movie is genuinely enjoyed by moviegoers and critics without it having any particular agenda?

i accept this movie can have points that can be enjoyed, I've spent a lot of pages in this thread discussing parts of the movie I enjoyed

this is still one of worst directed and executed blockbusters I've seen in the past few years, and even when I give it a 5/10 rating I know its bloated because of my love for philosophy and the matrix

so I still maintain the opinion that the ratings are bloated because of fear of the cancelling twitter community

or punish white people cus they are racist, a lot of white people are victims to their own racist mindsets, cus it breeds hatred and inferiority complexes

i'm saying white people have historically caused us all a severe problem worldwide and we can solve it by calling it out

another example, I was lucky because I finally found my group and kids in the hood that accepted me, another white kids in the hood didn't, he was a neighbor that I cut off a long time ago because he turned into a racist cop

calling people accurately a racist isn't saying they should be hated... it's stating a fact about a person

like saying a tree creates oxygen and lava is too hot to touch

you can go against these observations but that won't change the actual fact that white supremacy is a real thriving phenomenon that ruins people's lives

white supremacy is a real problem yes, but seeing how I and a lot kids were treated and how a lot of black people think of whites, if it was the other way around and there was black supremacy were things going to be different? what I'm saying is yes, a lot of the white community is extremely, but are other communities different? I just don't want to feed hate with more hate
