Again i enjoyed it and thought it was tastefully executed and serious enough without being overbearing and lighthearted at places where it was welcomed
The self references in the movie are done in such a way that they actually FIT inside the movie’s narrative without it causing a rift in the immersion, so no it wasn’t badly written or phoned in for me
