lxxk 2 uI felt like I was watching a movie Lana was forced to make by WB executives at gunpoint so she dedicated the film to letting us know how much she loathed making it.
I understand that's partly the "meta commentary" but Jesus it was so poorly executed, no wit nor subtlety, very insulting to the audience. It feels like the "I was just pretending to be r-word" meme in movie form.
on a technical level it was just flat & ugly. like a tv movie.
Jessica Henwick was good though.

And whether I agree with this or not I understand the feeling . Wish she would do a review to clarify but think many of you miss that it’s not just a F*** you to the industry it’s a f*** you to fans that load the gun to her head rather than support any of the other art she has made in 20 years or giving her flowers while eating up things derivative of her work
