I also have been a legit fan of Matty/1975 for years and am fully aware of him actively trying to be transgressive within his public persona but it is objectively wrong for a man to say he wants to slap a woman and based off how he instantly regretted what he said and tried to back down immediately after shows a lot of post-but clarity to me and that it was coming from genuine anger and it wasn’t until he expressed it and came down did he realize what he said.
