Chad Hugo erasure makes me sad. Pharrell is great especially when crafting a song concept and melody, but Chad brought a lot of the grooves and quirks and layers to Neptunes production.

Pharrell in general is a very elite producer with a strong musical background.

But I do feel like Ye is a better hip hop producer overall whereas P runs circles around Ye outside hip hop.

Chad brought so much magic to the Neptunes. His solo production is very ill too. Twilite Speedball, Goodbye to Love, and a lot of gems with Kenna.
