Actually thought this kicked ass

I was even absolutely loving the 3rd act but think it didn’t really commit hard enough.

when we got her dad coming back and a big religious cult it was so wacky I was in a state of kinosis but then there’s just a few shaky cam gun shots and weird bad looking Hollywood sign monologue

well i liked it

Fun little movie. Didn’t think the third act was as bad as everyone said it was. Felt a little rushed though.

finally got a chance to watch and wow this is honestly pretty much what I wanted from this movie. My favorite of the trilogy by far. So fun yet filled with dread. so aesthetically pleasing and well shot. im a sucker for 80s movies and s*** so maybe im biased

Watched last night. Outside of a few scenes, this just did not connect for me.

Really disappointed. With the cast and setting I thought we'd get a lot more but it felt messy and disjointed.

Ignoring the rest of the movie, this might be one of my favorite openings to a movie all year (so far). Starting from that audition transitioning to that tracking shot of Maxine as we got to explore the 80s setting with TV news anchor clips spliced in.

Just saw this. I feel like it had a great start but really fell short on its face toward the end there..
