The only anniversary Kanye has ever acknowledged is The College Dropout. He tweeted about it on its 10 year anniversary and had a little party, then done a similar thing for its 15th year anniversary at Sunday Service.
On the Yeezus tour show I went to he said “this is the intro to the greatest album of all time” and dark fantasy dropped.
I’m not mad at him thinking Yeezus and 808s are better, they are my top three Ye albums no question, I’m just mad at him discrediting MBDTF in the process.
It was in this interview he said it
I think he's always viewed it as his perfect album but sometimes he doesn't want s*** to be perfect
In 2018 when he delayed Yandhi he said he wanted to give the fans MBDTF/WTT level music but he's again gone back to not wanting to make something just to please people

He's been saying this since like 2013 in the zane Lowe interview he says MBDTF is perfect but that's not what he wants
We MIGHT get a tweet lol.
I was there for his first Yeezus Tour stop after TCD 10th anniversary and s*** was NUTS.
November 22 falls on a Sunday this year so maybe we’ll get a service dedicated to MBDTF
i was there ye did 40 songs
I’m not saying he doesn’t believe the very things that come out of his mouth, I’m saying that his need to go against popular opinion is clouding his judgement at the current moment, especially when it comes to his MBDTF s***. The Trump s*** is annoying because that guys just a piece of s***, but I never cared for politics to begin with so it’s not gonna make me turn on my favorite artist
I'm gonna have to disagree with your premise of the root of Kanye's opinions but I get where you coming from.

Hates MBDTF is different from feeling indifferent about it. He literally just did it to show he can achieve "perfection" but perfection is boring! I always found POWER to be a meh single. We just fall on the same line of thinking
MBDTF is a 3D printing while LR and CD are handcrafted sculptures of marble. Yeah there are more crags and chips but it got a different vibe I think he connects with more.
Kanye approves masters to appeal to the majority, meaning apple earphones, laptop teir speakers and other s***ty generic hardware.
It would make sense to release a master targeted towards those with decent hardware and a ear for sound quality.
I hope so one day

Really a meh single? Damn
Would be nice if he dedicated a sunday service to it. And maybe they will do a Vinyl re-release
Prudential Center?!?!

I really preferred almost anything GOOD Friday to Power

Sonnnnnn best night of my f***ing life wish I knew KTT members were there. First real concert I ever went to and I’m so glad it was the best concert I’ll probably ever see lmao.
In a perfect world we would get a documentary with exclusive footage about the making of this classic

Pretty much loved all the songs from that era, but the release of Power with the video and the BET performance was amazing. Can't believe you thought that was meh
Ye hates all the love and praise MBDTF gets and comparisons everytime he drops an album. We ain’t getting s*** Lmao
He’s literally just making his choices solely based on doing the opposite of popular opinion. The trump s*** and him trashing MBDTF right after every major outlet had it as the album of the decade.

Yea, yea. Just a cop out for him since he can’t top it.....That’s like saying “I mean I could get straight A’s if I wanted to but imma just settle for these C’s. I don’t wanna be perfect, I don’t want straight A’s”...Like whether it’s true or not, it’s still a cop out. He’s been using the same excuse since 2013 and rushing albums lol
