I'm putting it on right now. I'll always be thankful to Ye for this masterpiece. Untouchable work
I remember, there was tracklists with duration before the release. Everybody was wondering why DIAND was 6 min long whereas the good friday and runaway version was 2 min long
When I heard the 2nd part with Guitar Solo and Ross for the first time, I had goosebumps like I never had
Funny thing is, a lot of songs have been leaked or relased before the album. (Power, runaway, lost in the world, so appalled, monster, all of the lights, diand) and then there was the movie. But despite all of that, the album was considered as an instant classic.
I wonder what would have been my first listen of the album if I didn’t listen to good fridays and saw the movie
I actually wasn’t a big music fan before this album. I only cared about video games, Any music I listened to was just top 40. Somehow 3 tracks from Dark Fantasy found their way to me... Devil in A New Dress, Good Friday, and Monster. that’s when I started following hip hop , actively listening to new stuff, this album for real will always be my favorite

It's a shame what's happened to him.
Glad he has a family n' all. But I mean from a music standpoint, he fell off HARD.
Greatest album in history. There’s just no weak moments. Every song serves a purpose. So beautifully written. It’s truly a work of genius.

Runaway objectively the best song of the decade (and maybe of all time)
First Kanye song I ever heard (knowing it was him). Still remember watching the video repeatedly on yt when I was 12
