    That’s right

    After meditating for a bit I saw through my nose picking habit

    I saw my inner mental mechanisms...

    I saw the irritation, the anxiety, the worry, that preceded my finger going into my nose

    And once I saw this, my habit dissolved

    It also helped me with my anger

    I started seeing that every time I get angry it’s like a Molotov cocktail of chemicals explodes in my stomach

    I feel adrenaline and HEAT surging through my abdomen

    It must’ve always been there but I never noticed

    I find it easier to choose how I behave when I get angry now

    I do mindfulness meditation, also called vipassana meditation.I learned the specific style I do at a free 10 day vipassana retreat. If anyone is interested in that, it was completely free and changed my life. They provide everything for you. Lots of good food, all vegetarian.     If you want to get started with the bare basics of mindfulness meditation, this is a great app. It’s simple, no frills: oakmeditation.com

    I started with 10 mins a day. When I was comfortable with that I moved up to 15 mins. Currently I do 20 mins a day
