beats sound like how the coverart looks
he's going in on every song but some of the production is eh
i think he should link with the suicideboys and all the people who do night lovell prod
and get errick to touch the beats up w samples after
This sounds like it should’ve came out in the mid 2010s. With the beats and the hooks it sounds dated. In a sense i feel like having erick as the producer of FBZ has “held him back”.
Erick is an amazing producer it’s just when you don’t experiment with others early on, I feel like you don’t really capture a sound unique to you. Again not a hit at Erick more so a statement towards the stale identity of the beats on here.
The hooks on some songs atrocious. Lost Souls, Cursed, Never Forgettin just come off as incredibly corny for some reason. Same reason why i can’t listen to an Eminem song in a way. Just can’t explain it.
Hopefully he makes a second solo and takes criticism well. Meech to me one of the best out of the psychedelic/soundcloud era? off pure rapping skill.
Says he's open to any and all critiques. Said the second solo is the one he wants to have more fun on. First album he wanted to stick to a specific theme/sound.

real
Album is exactly what I wanted from a Meechy solo. This s*** is good. I agree the beats sound "dated" in that it sounds like mid 2010s s***, but I still think the beats are fine, and it fits for him. The album sounds like...what a Meechy Darko solo would sound like
He fumbled the bag with this cover Jesus f***ing Christ
Yeah the cover not great to me but the album itself is pretty consistently enjoyable
Nothing I don't like on here tbh

Singlehandedly made me want to listen
