That happens, a lot. And it has happened alot. And meek himself is one of those people who talks about it. Whether or not you tackle the "glorification" of street s*** and what comes with it it will still exists because it's largely a socio-economic issue with other s*** tacked onto it like systemic racism and judicial malpractice. The not snitching s*** stems from if you were there for good times where you were eating and it was all good, you might as well take whatever comes from that life while it goes bad.
I’m not saying the streets will cease to exist by ending the glorification of it but I do believe changing what we value in our community will be better for us in the long run. If being a doctor, lawyer, judge, dentist, teacher, police officer, etc. became cool in a community that feel like they’ve gotten the bad end dealing with all those systems wouldn’t it help us? Wouldn’t it make sense to change those systems from the inside out? I understand not snitching 100% but if it’s all destructive to this community and I have no connection to any of them I honestly don’t care about the outcome that’s their cross to bare.
Meek got DESTROYED by Drake 😂😂 also made the worst diss track of all time and he’s short af
Meek is taller then Drake
All the white people in thread saying Meek should still be locked up is more proof you have no empathy for black people and their struggles
Maybe don’t snitch on the people you asked to shoot on your behalf and they won’t wanna kill you. Crazy concept I know
Nigga they was tryna kill him before the “snitching”
Not that he is wrong.....but dude just became a father and is wasting his time on this.
so because he took 1-2 min max to post a tweet he's not taking care of or looking out for his son?

You're oversimplifying what actually happens. Street niggas do not want to be street niggas, but end up going through down that path for reason or another (usually socio-economic). Simply going don't be a street nigga, be a doctor or something has been happening for a while a now. Whether it be in community outreach programs, black media, or social media. It's a generational cyclical issue and a pull yourself by the bootstraps method is not going to work. So you can wipe blood, crip, folk, etc niggas out the neighborhood, something else will pop up to take it's place. The crime itself is symptomatic of something larger, which is why it's not that hard or hypocritical for someone like meek to be for reform and be against snitching lmaooo
