People bring up the ghost writing all the time when discussing drake also him and meek is pretty even as far as recent album quality goes
it’s not as prevalent as we might think, people really don’t give a damn when it comes to the ghost writing s*** anymore

I think in battle it does since that is a testament to your ability as a rapper. Quite frankly I don’t care as long as the music is great but that hasn’t been the case lately

Oh yeah traditional it definitely does, feel like this beef turned a lot of that stuff on its head because like you said if the music is good then why care? & Drake was dropping heat during that era with IYRTITL & Back to Back
The idea of being "smart" (when you're not) by using cryptos and NFT when you obviously don't understand s*** about them is going to make a lot of these rappers' pockets lighter I bet

They definitely have financial counselors who teach them about those things on a surface level at least
I think he's overestimating who cares enough to open a wallet and pay via ETH. plus imagine the gas fees.
can these sales even be counted for billboard etc? doubtful
there is something very suss about how rappers are suddenly all becoming crypto and NFT bros. a few months ago it was a lot of the e-girls doing the same for cryptos. it won't surprise me if they're getting paid to promote.
“Reveals”

I really don't think so 'cause if they did we'd see a lot more Jay-Zs. And if you have a financial counselor that advises you to invest in NFT/crypto instead of more "protective" assets you might as well fire him on the spot. There's a reason we never hear about the really wealthy investing in those bs but all of the idiots leading the way are rappers/athletes/youtubers...

All those rappers, athletes, youtubers probably get scammed by the same "experts"

lol they are
the boom in crypto/NFT advertising from everyone from washed-up celebrities to rappers and influencers is astroturfed heavily

I could bet that only a few them have "experts" in their close circle. Most of them just think that they're way smarter than they actually are or at least want to give the image of being smart guys. Like maybe Druski saw something in NFTs that the Bernard Arnault or Warren Buffett of this world didn't

tbh a lot of fraud boys from my area moved to forex and crypto lol, i'm sure it's similar in other areas.
my next album is gonna be harder to acquire. Google how to get it.
Oh and I’m rapping better on it just in case you were wondering
